Covering an area of 1.9 km², it extends towards the canyon of the lower Verdon Gorges. This magnificent and wild site can be explored by boat or by walking along the trails. Fishing and climbing are very popular and appreciated activities.

Description

Lake Quinson, on the border between the Var and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, is a reservoir of the Verdon formed by the Gréoux dam.
This wild and unspoiled site is ideal for gentle water activities: electric boat rides, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. From the Quinson water sports center, you can go up the river and explore the peaceful gorges as far as Esparron. A great place for swimming, fishing, and hiking, the lake is also an excellent starting point for exploring the caves and steep trails of the Verdon.
The nearby Prehistory Museum recalls the historical richness of this territory, which has been inhabited for thousands of years.
