MoreOur AOC Pierrevert and IGP Alpes-de-Haute-Provence wines
Along with olive trees, vines are one of the oldest crops in our region. Between the Alps and the Mediterranean, our terroir has given rise to AOC Pierrevert and IGP Alpes-de-Haute-Provence wines. With wine tourism, come and taste our wines at the heart of our estates.

Pierrevert is a small village south of Manosque. The Pierrevert wine vineyard, covering 450 hectares, experiences hot and sunny summers. It also benefits from high temperature variations due to the altitude (450 m on average) as well as low rainfall.
This climate therefore produces fruity and aromatic white and rosé wines. The reds, generally powerful and tannic, can therefore easily withstand several years of aging.
Enjoy full-bodied reds, aromatic rosés, dry whites, and don't forget fruity rosé for summer meals.
Initially recognized under the name of AOC Coteaux de Pierrevert (1998), the appellation then became Pierrevert Controlled Designation of Origin – AOC Pierrevert / AOP Pierrevert (2010)
In Pierrevert, two themed tours allow you to learn about vineyard work, pruning, grape varieties, and different vintages while you walk. These walks, accessible to all, also allow you to discover part of the typical landscape of Pierrevert, between vines et cultural heritage..
To complete your visit, the Vine and Wine Museum is located in the heart of the village of Pierrevert. The building in which it is located is the former property of winegrowers who donated it to the town. The museum thus highlights the heritage that makes Pierrevert the wine capital of the Alpes de Haute Provence.

The areas benefiting from the IGP Alpes-de-Haute-Provence designation extend across the entire department, which boasts landscapes and climates ranging from Alpine to Mediterranean, from the Durance Valley to the southern plateaux.
This appellation amazes wine lovers with its rich aromatic palette. Here, red, white, and rosé wines awaken the palate with their Provençal soul. The harvest, vinification, and production of wines benefiting from the geographical indication are therefore carried out in the Alpes de Haute Provence.

The estate is home to 11 grape varieties that are cultivated according to the lunar cycles. 100% manual harvesting, low sulfite use, and wide temperature ranges contribute to the production of these organic wines.
This premier wine tourism site in the Alpes de Haute Provence produces red, rosé and white wines as well as a sought-after olive oil.
