Located in the commune of Entrepierres, near Sisteron in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region, the farm produces organic beef, eggs, fruits and vegetables, and honey. Direct sales of baskets of local produce.
Description
On the bee side: with our two apiaries, located on the farm and on the Puimoisson plateau, we produce mountain honey, honey from
lavender, and depending on the year and the honeydew of rosemary, thyme or even acacia.
Cow side: we mainly raise Galloway cattle, using organic farming methods. These Scottish cows are hardy and adapted to our sometimes harsh climates. This allows us to leave them out to pasture all year round. The cows and steers are taken to the Digne-les-Bains slaughterhouse, the nearest organic-certified slaughterhouse. The meat is sold in 8-10 kg crates of various cuts.
Garden side: we offer a variety of fruits and vegetables grown organically.
To top it all off, we also offer eggs from our small organic laying hen farm.
Our products are sold directly on the farm (by appointment), at the Mézien market (Entrepierres) on Sunday mornings in the summer season and all year round at the Saint-Geniez market from 17 p.m. to 18 p.m. in winter and 17:30 p.m. to 19 p.m. in summer.
