Le Paraïs, Jean Giono's house and gardens, reopens to visitors after its restoration work.
Description
To allow you to see or revisit his home and explore the life of this Manosque writer, we welcome you for the summer season from Tuesday to Sunday with four guided tour times available: 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 3 pm, or 4 pm. Please remember to book in advance, as tours are organized, as usual, in small groups of no more than 7 people, in accordance with safety regulations for both visitors and the artworks.
You will thus have the pleasure of (re)discovering Jean Giono's house and its heritage garden. To encourage the public to visit the writer's house and gardens, new spaces have been created: a welcome and mediation pavilion, a museum trail, a new bookshop and gift shop, and a contemplative garden including Jean Giono's bench and rose garden.

From 24/05 to 30/09/2026 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends from 9:30am, from 10:30am, from 15pm and from 16pm. Closed on Mondays.
From 01/10/2026 to 30/04/2027 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 14 a.m. to 18 p.m.
