Barrême is a village shaped by its territory: rock, water and passageways. Located at the confluence of three Asse rivers, at the foot of the Saint-Jean plateau, it has moved over the centuries from the medieval hilltop town towards the valley.
Description
This visit aims to help you understand how the landscape has shaped the history of the village, from the Barremian ammonites, witnesses to an ancient sea, to lavender and distilleries, via mills, the Route Napoléon and the commitments of the Resistance.
