For the first time, Sisteron will be the starting city of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes!
A 175km stage to Nice to feel the excitement of the women's peloton and experience this exceptional sporting event!
Description
The start of the 8th and penultimate stage between Sisteron and Nice, which is also the longest at 175 km, will therefore be given on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the late morning from the city center of Sisteron.
The previous day's stage will be between La-Voulte-sur-Rhône and the summit of Mont Ventoux.
As a reminder, the grand départ of the Tour de France Femmes will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from Lausanne in Switzerland and there will be 9 days of racing before the final arrival in Nice.
It is worth noting that Sisteron was a stage town of the Tour de France in 2010 and 2020.
