Visit to the trail in Larche along the small works of the outpost line recounting the actions of the ski scout section of the 83rd BAF (Alpine Fortress Battalion) commanded by Lieutenant Costa de Beauregard from June 10 to 24, 1940.

Description

The SES Lieutenant Costa memorial trail in Beauregard, 6 km long and with 300m of elevation gain, recalls the battles of June 1940 in Larche when Mussolini declared war on France.

The trail connects the fortifications of 5 outposts where French soldiers fought against Italian troops. At each fortification, the course of the battles is explained.

Minimum age: 10 years
