Bruno, choirmaster, welcomes you to his 18th-century country house, at the foot of the Lure mountain, in the heart of Haute Provence, surrounded by lavender fields.
Description
The 1,5 hectare wooded park with its hundred-year-old lime trees will allow you to feel like you are out of time, with a direct view of the Alps; the pool fed by the spring will allow you to refresh yourself.
I welcome you to my country house, in the peaceful Provençal hinterland. La Bastide du Claus, built by a squire of Louis XIV, away from the small flowery village of Cruis (labeled Village and City of Character), has survived the centuries. Its old stones welcome you under the benevolent shade of its hundred-year-old lime trees. Its 17th-century pool, fed by the property's spring, allows you to refresh yourself.
The 6 gîtes for 2 to 5 people and the 4 3-star guest rooms await you.
You are in the heart of Haute Provence, at an altitude of 700 m at the foot of the Lure mountain, less than 10 km from the Way of St. James connecting Rome to Spain, in the land of Jean Giono. The gates of the Luberon Regional Park and its medieval villages, the regional produce market of Forcalquier, the citadel of Sisteron and the Durance Valley with its many sporting activities are all within a radius of less than 15 km. The Baronnies Regional Park, the Verdon Regional Park and the Haute Provence Geological Nature Reserve await you nearby.
