Lavender House

Built on a hillside, Vaumeilh is a classic example of a hilltop village at an altitude of 460 m and 14 km north of Sisteron. Its origins date back to 1500 AD.
The region is renowned for many sporting activities, mainly gliding and water sports.

Our "Maison aux Lavandes" consists of a "Hongrie" guest room for a couple and a "Gache" studio room, also for 2 people. "Hongrie" is a separate room with a bathroom including a shower and toilet and a large double bed. It is available as a guest room with breakfast served on the terrace or inside.

The "Gache" studio offers great independence and free meal management: it has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven and electric hob, microwave, washing machine.
The beautiful living room opening onto the private terrace has a double bed and a dining area.
The bathroom with bathtub and toilet is located next to the bedroom.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor with parking and you enjoy a garden with views of the mountains and Provençal landscapes.
The garden is available to all guests.

For the "Hungary" room, the hearty breakfast is served with homemade bread, croissants, homemade jams made with local fruits, fruits and cereals. It is served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., but we adapt according to your requests.
