The Bicaïl mill has been nestled in the heart of Haute Provence since the 17th century. From its original purpose, it has retained a preserved environment between lavender and olive trees.
Description
Since ancient times, the Alpes de Haute Provence has been a land crossed by the transhumance of herds, particularly sheep. The flocks and their shepherds who came from the North and Italy to descend to the Crau plain crossed the plateaus.
They left behind numerous sheepfolds, mostly made of dry stone, as well as bories.
