Description
The name of the building is explained by an old local custom: sterile women or those wanting a child would go up to the chapel with two eggs. Once there, they had to swallow one and place the other in the chapel, to come back and get it the following year. Until recently, one could actually see a few eggs placed inside, on the sides or in the niches.
