Sagnières Aqueduct

Indeed, through this small ravine of "Les Sagnières" (Marsh, wet meadow), the water bestows its benefits throughout the first part of the trail. As Saint-Exupéry said, "What flowed from the belly of the mountain was life, it was the blood of men." These men, who knew how to use and channel this resource, as seen here, in order to survive. Isn't it the most abundant element on the planet? With a global volume estimated at 1360 million km³, it is also the largest volume of living matter: humans and animals are made up of approximately 71% water, green plants of 85%, and wood of 50%. It goes without saying that this water meandering at your feet remains the most precious resource that the earth can offer humankind.
