Description
Frédéric Mistral dedicated his life and work to promoting the culture of his native Provence. In 1904, he became the first writer to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature for a work in a regional language.
Frédéric Mistral came to the Gréoux thermal baths by train (Manosque station) and he came to see his friend, the station master and Provençal poet Albert Honde and Lazarine de Manosque.
