Almost 6500 years ago, a community of farmers settled in Méailles, near the Pertus II cave. The exhibition presents the results of excavations carried out in this cave.
Description
The Pertus II cave is one of a group of caves located in the cliff below the village. It was first excavated between 1955 and 1959 by the Museum of Prehistory and Anthropology of Monaco and then during recent campaigns carried out by Cédric Lepère's team.
