The old Romanesque cathedral bears witness to the rich past of Senez, which was established as a bishopric in the 5th century.

Description

Excavations undertaken in the building in 2018 uncovered an early Christian church dating back to Antiquity, as well as an exceptional collection of wall paintings and tombs.

Other details

Guided tours of the cathedral and village are available year-round for groups, and for individuals in July and August only. Duration: approximately 1.5 hours.
