If you're passing through Barrême, have you ever noticed the large brick chimney that rises into the sky? It's a former lavender distillery built in 1905, recently converted into a museum.

Description

Located in the heart of the machinery, the museum is dedicated to the surprising history of this factory and to the distillation of lavender in the hinterland of Grasse.
Aromatic plants, essential oils, and games will awaken all your senses. The garden offers a fun way to discover some aromatic and medicinal plants.
Also worth visiting is the museum shop dedicated to aromatic plants, gardening and biodiversity.
Activities are offered regularly from April to October.
