France's third-largest spa resort, this town, renowned for the therapeutic and beneficial properties of its waters, is crowned by a 3th-century castle known as the "Templars' Castle." This lively village is located in the Verdon Regional Park.
Description
From the 1st century, the Romans settled near the hot spring and built thermal baths on the site of the current troglodyte building made of Rognes stone.
Described as "the romantic oasis of the Verdon" by Jean Giono, this spa and climatic resort is renowned for its beneficial and therapeutic waters. The troglodyte thermal baths, located on the edge of a large shaded park, offer, in addition to medical treatments, fitness and wellness packages.
