Description

Built between two hillsides overlooking the Verdon, Esparron-de-Verdon captivates with its 13th-century seigneurial castle, with its crenellated keep, listed as a Historic Monument. The village preserves a Romanesque church under the dual name of Saint Andrew and Saint Mary Magdalene, perched on a rock. Since 1967, Lake Esparron has been an ideal place for swimming and water sports, surrounded by cliffs and coves ideal for climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. Also discover a botanical trail and a route along the old medieval rampart.
