Between the cultivated plains around the Durance, the hills of pines and oaks, this ancient Gallo-Roman city has a rare heritage: lion's head fountain from 1609, medieval gates, chapels, a school from 1930 and a bandstand!
Description
The crypt-chapel of Sainte-Tulle is located not far from the village, on the banks of the Chaffère stream. This semi-rock-hewn building, consisting of three semi-circular vaulted rooms, is one of the rare examples of a rural crypt in Provence. Above the church door, a large archway supports three bells of different sizes, one of which is dated 1603.
