Crowned at its summit by the Saint Elzéar Chapel, this hilltop village built in steps offers a panoramic view of the surrounding valley. An observatory allows you to admire the celestial vault thanks to its telescope, which is one of the largest in the world!

Description

Perched on its hill, Puimichel offers a superb panorama of the valley and an exceptionally clear sky, ideal for astronomical observation. Labeled a Starry Village, the village is home to an observatory accessible to all, equipped with one of the largest amateur telescopes in the world. But Puimichel also charms with its heritage: chapel, mill, stately home, and listed church. In summer, the air is filled with essential oils from local lavender and sage distilleries. Honey, hiking, heritage... here, all the senses are celebrated, between earth and stars.
