It is one of the oldest fountains in the city.

Description

It was built in the second half of the 17th century.
It is a simple and rustic style fountain, built in large cut stone with two straight cannons. It is a drawing fountain

In September 1699, a decision was taken by the Council to intervene with Mr. Joseph Allemand and Mr. Antoine Aubert: "whose horses, suffering from glanders, could transmit it to other horses and livestock in the area by watering them in the fountains in the area.
1707: regulation for the use of basin overflows.
