A mountain guide, ecological engineer and mountain art guide certified by the Gassendi Museum, Matthieu offers hikes for all audiences and school outings, based on a po-ethical and sensitive approach to the environment.

Description

In the magnificent landscapes of the Alps of Light, Matthieu will accompany you on wild trails for a total immersion in unspoiled nature. Here, our steps will lead us to a fossil beach, a marker of exceptional geology. There, a hidden ruin will evoke for us the authentic peasant life of centuries past. A little further on, we will marvel at the rustling of the flora of the Alpes de Haute-Provence or the majestic flight of vultures before discovering, at the bend of a path, one of the secret works of mountain art of the Gassendi Museum in Digne-les-Bains (Andy Goldsworthy, Joan Fontcuberta, Herman de Vries, etc.).

Here, conviviality, good humor and contemplation are our guiding principles, for an unforgettable experience of the mountains of Haute-Provence, from the Luberon and Lure to the Haut-Verdon, via Les Monges, the Blanche valley and the Digne region.

All outings are designed with you and for you. Tailored to your group, your desires, and your fitness level, whether for a half-day, a full day, an evening in a mountain hut, or a week-long stay.

An environmental educator since 1998, Matthieu also offers educational activities and interventions for school groups: sensory and scientific discovery of nature, land art, history and vernacular heritage... PassCulture referenced with the Art en chemin structure.
