Description

Perched high in the Montagne de Lure, at an altitude of 1600 m, the Marc Bianchi Observatory offers an exceptional setting for discovering the wonders of the starry sky. Managed by the Société Astronomique de la Montagne de Lure (SAML), this observatory association welcomes the public for friendly observation evenings, summer conferences, and educational workshops. Beneath its dome, two powerful telescopes reveal galaxies, nebulae, and planets in a sky of rare purity. A unique celestial immersion, combining passion, sharing, and the Provençal sky.

The association owns several observation instruments and helps observers and astrophotographers in their learning.
We can accommodate groups all year round by appointment.
Organizing public observation evenings throughout the year
