The hike offers beautiful views of the pre-Alpine mountains of Verdon and presents interesting vegetation contrasts between the Adret and the Ubac de Barbin.
Description
From the Vignal car park, follow departmental road 123 (significant climb at the start). After about 15 minutes of walking on the road, 3 bends after the place called "Le Brec", take the track marked in yellow on your left.
You pass by a belvedere overlooking the village of La Palud and reach the highest point at 1480 meters, return through the forests of Barbin, the GR4.
Contrasting vegetation, beech forest on the shady side, boxwood and broom on the sunny side.
