Description
From the La Pare refuge, the route descends along a balcony through woods, meadows and hilltop hamlets to the village of La Fresquière.
Details concerning animals : This stage of the GR®56 is accessible with a dog, provided it is kept on a leash throughout the entire route. However, stages 2 to 5 take you to the heart of the Mercantour National Park, where dogs are strictly prohibited, even on a leash or carried on your person.
