The Col Bas lakes site is classified as a Sensitive Natural Space, a fragile site rich in biodiversity, do not leave the marked trail (biotope protection order n°86-3106). biotope protection order n°86-3106

Access via chairlifts from Montclar Station, open on certain days in July/August.

Variant :
From Seyne-les-Alpes (9 km) take the D207 towards Montclar then the D607 to the hamlet of Saint-Pons-commune of Seyne where you follow the Col-Bas forest track (open from May to October), until its end (equipped car park).
