Set off to discover places that have returned to their wild state, but which have long been shaped by man. Hamlets and abandoned houses, mill and bridge in ruins. Witnesses of a depopulation of the valley and the surrounding massifs.
Description
From the town hall square, head towards the river and cross it by the footbridge. Follow the small road on the left. At the crossroads of the cross, go right then left at the next crossroads at the entrance to the hamlet of Chaudol, and finally right shortly after. The road turns into a track at the level of a house. At the top of a first steep path, head left. The path overlooks the small valley. At the last meadow, take the path on the left which descends and crosses the valley. At La Bouisse Basse (1 m) - Go up to the right in front of the chapel. At the top of the meadows, find the path which climbs steeply crossing on the left. Near the ruins of La Bouisse Haute, it branches off to the right then crosses a pine wood and emerges in a meadow. Cross it, following the markers carefully and find the path at the entrance to the forest. It turns into a track by joining a ridge, follow it to La Sauzée. Cross the stream and immediately descend to the right. Follow the balcony path, cross a wet area then descend to reach Boulard.
