Description
Starting from Castellane, the Route Napoléon à Cheval route takes some sections of the famous historic route but the route is mainly on paths, along the banks of the Verdon through hamlets, undergrowth, on the mountainside with some passages overlooking and other viewpoints such as the Cadières de Brandis, the Clues de la Roche percée but also historical Napoleonic and Roman sites in the heart of the Haute-Provence Geological Nature Reserve.
