In the heart of the Mercantour National Park, this easy family hike explores a magnificent mountain lake. Observing marmots and their habitat will delight both young and old.
Description
From Pont Rouge, the path rises very gradually into a majestic valley where sheep graze in the summer pastures.
The three shepherd's huts along the route bear witness to this rich pastoral activity.
The final section, on the left bank of the Ubayette, allows you to observe the beautiful Enclausette and Lauzanier waterfalls.
Finally, the arrival at the famous Lauzanier lake, in a spectacular mineral environment, rewards the efforts made in the last bends.
