From the Luberon to the Durance, the Calavon passes through many rocky sites, but none of them reach the scale of the Oppedette Gorges. Magical!
Description
"The playful descent, enhanced by handrails to guide you from one ledge to the next, leads 150 meters lower, to the very bottom of the gorge. Then, after a stretch along the riverbank, the route climbs sharply up the opposite bank and finally exits through the Aven de l'Échelle (Ladder Cave), which must be climbed with caution. An active exploration that requires navigating several exposed and technical sections along the cliff edges, sometimes exposed despite the equipment. A real treat!" Eric Garnier, Outdoor Sports Project Manager at the Luberon Regional Natural Park.
