A haven of biodiversity, in the heart of the Pélicier State Forest. A perfect escape to nature!
Description
“This is where the history of the state forest began, since the State purchased the land along with the Château building in 1899. At that time, the many tree species growing on these slopes did not exist. These hills were heavily exploited by humans. Imagine the place as an early 19th-century farm with numerous agricultural areas, vineyards, and grazing livestock. Today, the Pélicier state forest is a peaceful haven in the south.” Gérard Peyrotty, forester with the National Forestry Office.
