The Gorges de Trévans, near the village of Estoublon are deep and magnificent gorges cut into the mountain. This hike leads to the ruins of the hamlet of Valbonnette.
Description
From the designated parking area (D667), the route follows the Trévans gorges along its right bank, passes the Valbonnette ruins, and returns along the left bank. This protected site is classified as a Sensitive Natural Area by the Department, a State Biological Reserve, a Natura 2000 site, and lies at the heart of the UNESCO Haute-Provence Geopark.
