Description

In the heart of the Mercantour National Park, Lake Allos (2 m) is an emblematic site, accessible on foot from the Laus car park.
The route, punctuated by an interpretive trail, allows you to explore unspoiled nature, between larch forests, waterfalls and high-altitude meadows. The tour of the lake offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding peaks, ideal for observing wildlife: marmots, chamois, etc. The trail is accessible by joëlette, allowing people with reduced mobility to enjoy this mountain immersion.
Hiking, discovery and contemplation are combined with respect for a fragile environment.

Delicate passages

For the more motivated, the departure can be made further upstream from the summer parking lot of La Cluite by following the GR56B. Allow 1h30 of additional hiking (please note this part is not accessible by joelette)
