A hike that will take you to the heights of Rougon and culminate in the view of its Sublime point
Description
From La Palud go down the main street, after the cemetery turn right and follow the path for 200m then turn left between the trees and follow the path to the D952 road, follow it for 230m. 1 Turn left (La Palud 45 arrow post) and follow the GR4 variant with white and red markings. Continue after the path along the track, pass in front of the stables and continue straight ahead above the cliffs. At the arrow post "La Palud 47 Vallon du Baou" turn left and after 100m turn right cross the Baou via a footbridge and continue to join the access track to the Bergerie de Faucon. 2 - Then turn right towards "la grande Bastide" and continue along the GR4 variant 3 At the signpost "rougon19" continue left on the D17 after 80m continue straight on "post arrow Rougon 18" continue uphill until the signpost "Rougon 17" then turn right on the D317 pass in front of the cemetery to the village of Rougon. 4 Turn right then left and go down the path towards the hamlet of Lauves. 5 Turn left until you reach the hamlet and the bus stop.

Delicate passages
This is a one-way hike with drop-off and return by coach with the Riez-Castellane line set up by the South region. Avoid the intense summer heat and leave early. Bring: 3L of water per person, a hat and walking shoes. Be attentive to the herd guardian dogs on the plateau read “if I meet a Patou” below.
