From the hamlet of Argens, renowned for its fine lavender and the distillery that you can visit, continue along a road that smells of Provence to St André where the lavender fields overlook the Verdon, then head towards the distillery museum in Barrême.

In Argens, discover the Bleu d'Argens farm: Come and discover Haute-Provence and its treasures with 100% natural products made from PDO fine lavender and other aromatics. Perched on a plateau overlooking the Verdon Valley, the lavender fields and other aromatics dot the mountain landscape with color until the end of August. Véronique's slow cosmetic products are also available at Provençal markets throughout the year and in the online store.
In Saint André, the lavender fields can be seen in a 30-minute round trip on foot, taking the direction of Méouilles from the center of the village of St André.
Finally, continue your scent trail by reaching the village of Barrême
and its distillery museum. Have you ever noticed the large brick chimney soaring into the sky? This is a perfume plant distillery built in 1905 by an internationally established German company. Located in the heart of the machinery, the museum is dedicated to the surprising history of this factory and the distillation of lavender in the Grasse hinterland. Aromatic plants, essential oils, and games will awaken all your senses. Also worth a visit is the museum shop dedicated to lavender and perfume plants.
