The Samson corridor route allows you to visit, on a round trip, the entrance to one of the largest Canyons in Europe: the Verdon Gorges.
Description
From the Samson corridor car park, go down to the snowshoe (turnaround area at departmental 23A) to then go down, again and via a path (the GR4), to the end of the Blanc-Martel path: the entrance to the Canyon.
In the Gorges, you will follow the Verdon River through tunnels (the Baou tunnel is 670 meters long) to the Trescaïre towers: three rocky towers on the opposite bank. This is the end of this route, but you can continue walking if you wish.
Please note swimming is prohibited in the Verdon.

Delicate passages
Don't forget your flashlight (or at least the flash on the phone) and a small jacket: it's cool in the tunnels! Puddles often mark the latter.
