Discover the 4 glacial lakes in the heart of the Mercantour National Park
Description
From the Laus car park (please note restricted access), take the main path towards Lac d'Allos, then turn left towards the Méouilles plateau and the Col de la Petite Cayolle.
After a climb in altitude, you will first discover the pretty lake of Petite Cayolle nestled in the hollow of the mountains.
The path will take you to the pass of the same name with a view of the Cayolle refuge.
The walk continues on a hilly plateau towards Les Garrets then Pas du Lausson.
At the end of this plateau, Avalanche Mountain appears on your left and in front of you you have a breathtaking view of Lake Allos.
Finally, the route, all downhill, allows you to reach the Méouilles plateau initially crossed.
