Depart from the Maison de Pays de Beauvezer, where you can buy local products from the upper Verdon Valley. Head towards the Place de la Chapelle Notre-Dame.
Description
Climb towards the Condamine district on the Grande Randonnée de Pays Tour du Haut Verdon trail. Follow the signs for the Pic de Mal-Ubac/La Valette. Reach the Bois des Fabres then continue towards the Croix de la Roubeirette. You will then reach the Gorge de Groum. The signs disappear at the end of this gorge.
Climb up the valley towards a small pass with a slope approaching 30° or head right directly towards the summit. The slope is then a little steeper and approaches 35-40 degrees. From this summit, admire a very pretty panorama over the upper Verdon valley and the Val d'Allos. Return by the same route.
