On your return, enjoy a cultural visit with a total immersion in our pack and learn more about these very specific breeds thanks to our 11-panel trail. A fun activity, accessible to all, to share a unique moment with our four-legged friends.
With Banquise Traîneau, set off on a unique experience combining hiking and immersion in the heart of our pack of primitive Nordic dogs!
The hike lasts approximately 40 minutes of actual walking, adapted to the pace of the participants, for a total of approximately 2 hours of activity including the cultural visit.
Attached to your dog by a belt, you will share a real moment of complicity with your companion of the day, in the heart of nature, in the shady forests of the Ubaye valley.
After the walk, there's a guided tour of the kennel, a truly immersive experience where you'll discover our world through our themed explanatory panels installed in the dog park. These educational materials allow you to learn more about the history of sled dogs, their role, their training, and much more.
Cani-rando at Banquise Traîneau is much more than just a walk: it's a real immersion in the life of the pack, a moment of exchange, learning and shared pleasure, in all simplicity.
Our dog-hiking is accessible from 2 years old:
- For children aged 2 to 5, the ride is comfortably seated in a sulky (small cart pulled by a dog), under the supervision and accompaniment of a parent.
- For children aged 6 to 9, the activity is in pairs, always accompanied by an adult, or another child, to ensure their safety and comfort.
