This family route starting from the Col de Fontbelle invites you to take a pleasant discovery loop which winds through the undergrowth, in the shade of deciduous and coniferous trees, in a calm and hushed forest atmosphere.
Description
Featuring several UNESCO Geopark of Haute-Provence interpretation desks, this trail will allow you to discover that the trees in this forest can hardly be more than 120 years old, that the mountains have not always been there and that the sea is the origin of all the rocks that surround us. To keep the senses of the youngest ones alert, silhouettes of animals that populate the forest are to be sought, well hidden around the bend of the trail!
This remarkable site is also equipped with several picnic tables (including a PMR table) and tourist signs to inform you of other hikes to do nearby.
