The many lakes of Ubaye are remnants of glacial activity. A natural heritage of great beauty to be appreciated during this day. A different lake is proposed each day.

Meeting with the marmots
Tuesday, Friday & Sunday – Morning – By reservation
Nature outing to observe marmots in the Mercantour National Park. An easy walk through the mountain pastures to discover this friendly animal in its natural habitat. Wide open spaces, Alpine flowers, and sightings of other wildlife.

On the trail of the wolf
Tuesday – Day – By reservation
Walk in the heart of wolf territory in search of signs of this fascinating animal's presence. Camera traps are in place on the ground so you can use a tablet to view the photos taken in recent days, as well as the most interesting images taken previously. We'll also look for signs of the presence of other wildlife species that the wolf preys on. Gil has plenty of true stories to tell you.

In the kingdom of the eagle
Thursday – Day – By reservation
Between earth and sky, discover these majestic birds: griffon vulture, bearded vulture, and golden eagle. Identify them, understand their lifestyle, search for a raptor's nest, and, with luck, the young raised this year.

Ibex hike
Tuesday & Thursday – Day – By reservation
Hike from the Restefond valley to meet this imposing animal (the male can weigh more than 100 kg) which likes heights but allows itself to be approached easily. Magnificent landscapes.

A day of hiking with a photographer to hone your photographic skills and make better use of your equipment. This outing is aimed at people interested in photography who already own a minimum of equipment.

The most beautiful peaks in Ubaye

Each week, you'll be offered a summit of the valley's iconic peaks, or a 3000m peak. The panoramic view of the Alps is the reward for a hike with an elevation gain ranging from 950 to 1200m.
