Located in the historic site of the Couvent des Cordeliers, the Artemisia Museum invites you on a journey to discover plants.
The gathering and cultivation of perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants has forged, over the past centuries, an important part of the identity of the Lure mountain and more broadly of Haute Provence.
The Artemisia Museum takes you on a journey of discovery of the perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants of the Lure mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The route takes you along the paths of herbalists, discovering local biodiversity, lavender and alcohol distilleries, and cosmetic and perfume manufacturers.
As an actor in your visit, your senses and emotions will be stimulated throughout the journey. An ingenious mix of educational panels, plants to touch, botanical boards to compose, and galleries of scents, the Artemisia Museum offers you a real multi-sensory immersion.
