Between Digne les Bains and Sisteron, by bike, motorbike or car, this road route allows you to meet some of the most beautiful natural and cultural sites in the Alpes de Haute Provence department.
Description
This road route located in the Geopark of Haute Provence, will allow you to pass by sites which have a particular relationship with the measurement of time:
- Fossils and Written Stone in St-Geniez,
- Panoramic view of the Vançon,
- Sentinel by Andy Goldsworthy,
- Introduction to the wood dating method at Mallemoisson,
- Etc.
This road will take you to the Terre et Temps museum in Sisteron.
All along this route, you will encounter landscapes suitable for hiking and will visit many magnificent villages in our territory such as Thoard, Hautes Duyes, Estoublon, Le Chaffaut-St-Jurson, Mallemoisson, Aiglun or even Champtercier.
