The world of bees. Direct sale of beekeeping products on the farm.

Description

In Estoublon, in a truly Provençal atmosphere, come discover the Ruchers de la Bastide Blanche and taste its fragrant honeys. A sensory and olfactory stop on the Route des Pebbles of the Haute-Provence Geopark.
You are here in the commune of Estoublon, a few kilometers from the famous Valensole plateau and its vast lavender-blue expanses. Gisèle Emeline, geopartner of the Haute-Provence Geopark, has several products to her credit: garrigue honey, lavender, chestnut, Alpine flowers, gingerbread, nougat, honey calissons made on the farm, mielettes, honey biscuits...
Haute-Provence honey benefits from the significant presence of aromatic plants found in both cultivated and wild areas: lavender and lavandin of course, but also thyme, rosemary, savory, hyssop, etc., which are valuable honey plants, with flowering periods staggered over time.
Gisèle will be happy to welcome you, alone or in groups, and will offer tours and activities. Among other things, you will be able to observe, listen to, and smell a living hive (a transparent, wire-mesh hive to get as close as possible to the bees).
