Damien practices non-transhumant beekeeping in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region. He produces high-quality artisanal honeys, currently undergoing organic conversion. Oak, lavender, wildflower, or mountain honey—taste the difference!

Description

My biotope currently allows me to avoid moving the hives, even though the honey yield and diversity are lower. The bees are less stressed, and the carbon footprint is very low.
My main apiary is located in Thèze, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, where I harvest lavender and "all-flower" honey.
I have 2 other apiaries located in Thuoux, Hautes-Alpes and in Laborel, Drôme where I can harvest mountain honey and fine lavender.

Recently, an alternative to glass jars with plant pots presented itself, I chose them for their environmental quality: 100% biosourced. Reusable and washable at less than 45°, biodegradable and compostable at the end of their life, and their lightness suitable for postal shipments.
