Sheep's milk cheese and yogurt, potatoes, eggs and lamb (only on order).

Description

The Giberts, sheep breeders from father to son, have diversified their production. From breeding the entire herd through transhumance in the Haut-Verdon, they have moved on to producing sheep's milk cheese. A real farm with chickens, rabbits, pigs, horses and goats, dogs and, of course, dairy sheep and their young.
Christine leads you along the canal under cover of trees on the banks of the Issole where chickens run, across the fields towards the Pont des Sept Arcades, witness to the use of water, not only for watering but also for the village wash houses and mills.
The sheep will have finished their nap, and will approach curiously... Mothers and daughters whose milk is transformed with know-how and technique.
The maturing process defines the final product, between fresh, creamy, semi-matured and matured or even dry, what a difference in taste!
And then, it's snack time, for young and old, prepared by Christine from different cheeses and the opportunity for children to get to know many animals.
