November is Documentary Month, an opportunity to see documentary films presented by the Departmental Media Library of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04). Screenings are followed by discussions with film professionals. The theme for 2026 is "Against the Current."
Description
Between Felletin and Aubusson, women form a craft community around wool. They are tapestry weavers, dyers, sheep breeders, artists, or even spinning mill workers.
Their expertise reveals a unique connection with the world, rooted in ecological and political reflection. The film also adopts a handcrafted approach, blending animation with 16mm film developed by hand and with plants.
La projection sera suive d'un débat avec la réalisatrice Louise Deltrieux.
