The poet Thomas Vinau and the calligrapher Julien Chazal offer you a creation combining the poetic voice with the hand of writing: the calligrapher will create a work live on a performed reading by the poet.

Description

“A book isn’t a dialogue. It’s not an answer, nor a discussion. A book is something given to you. Words placed in your hands while someone touches your shoulder. Nothing more. Nothing less.” This will be followed by a time for discussion and sharing about their work and creative process. The evening is organized in partnership with La Maison des Calligraphies du monde (The House of World Calligraphy). The program includes a presentation of the novel, readings, discussions, and book signings. A potluck buffet will follow the event: please bring a savory or sweet dish; Le Bleuet will provide the drinks.
