FUGACES is a memory, a tribute, a kind of declaration of love. It's Aina Alegre's love for Carmen Amaya, the celebrated bailaora, actress, and singer, now forgotten. But expressed through the vocabulary of contemporary dance.

Description

On stage, seven dancers create a ritual. They invoke the powerful and free spirit of this legendary figure through an energetic, fast-paced, dazzling dance, transforming their bodies into percussion instruments. Between pounding rhythms, pulsating light, and hypnotic music, Aina Alegre offers us a choreography tinged with deconstructed and reinvented flamenco.
