A multilingual singer of traditional, folk and polyphonic music, an all-terrain improvisational double bassist and a viol player-guitarist arranger from early music… This gives Zaïna: a trio that joyfully explores a protean repertoire in seven languages; reflecting the journey and curiosity of its protagonists.
It includes Sephardic music, flamenco, traditional music from Venezuela, Greece, Brazil, ancient music… With coherence and cohesion, a sound, a style based on vibrant strings and carefully crafted arrangements, lovingly woven together.
